Carol assisted with my titration process for adult ADHD - She was extremely helpful, got back to me quickly and helped with a lot of queries such as concerns about ongoing shared care agreements. Prescriptions got sent out quickly when requested too.

I have just completed my titration on ADHD medication.
Carol was knowledgeable and supportive, advising me on what to expect and side affects, and how to manage during the process.
Carol really put me at ease throughout the process. Would definitely recommend!

My experience with Carol Shue was great. She explained the titration process thoroughly and responded quickly to my questions. Carol showed concern and was attentive to my response to the treatment.
She would call if anything needed urgent attention and sent my prescriptions in a timely manner. I am grateful to have had her as my nurse prescriber and I would highly recommend her

Carol Shue has been excellent in managing my titration onto ADHD medication. She has been incredibly professional, knowledgeable and helpful throughout, as well as maintaining good communication and dealing with any issues related to titration promptly and effectively.

Carol was my titration nurse for my ADHD medicine. I found her to be extremely diligent and professional . She was able to give me clear and concise instructions throughout the titration process and always got back to my messages as soon as possible. She made the process as a whole of finding my correct medication and dose for my ADHD very easy and straightforward.

Profile
I am a registered nurse prescriber. I started my journey as a mental health nurse by completing the recognised nursing course in the UK. Since qualifying as a nurse in 2011, I have worked in acute inpatient and community settings. I have helped pioneered the start of an NHS Adult ADHD service in 2011 and developed the service together with a Consultant Psychiatrist and provided a nurse led service for adults. Since 2011, I have participated in training conferences to help train other clinicians who were planning to start an adult ADHD service in their locality or those who have just started working in an adult ADHD service. I have given talks about the nurse led Adult ADHD service that I have helped pioneered in conferences/training sessions.
I was voted Clinician of The Year in 2017 in the NHS Trust I was working with, and this reflects my dedication and commitment to continue to develop my nursing practice and deliver the best nursing intervention to those in need.
